Catarina Homem participates in the 1st HHMI International Research Scholar Programme Meeting

On February 19 and 20, 2018, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian hosted the 1st HHMI International Research Scholar Programme Meeting.
This inaugural meeting gathered for the first time 36 scientists who have been selected for this programme last year. One of the scientists that attended this meeting is Catarina Homem, Principal Investigator of the Proliferation and Fate Regulation of Stem Cells Lab.
HHMI supports efforts to develop the careers and scientific creativity of outstanding scientists around the world with an international program aimed at developing scientific talent worldwide.  This is a joint program that gathers the largest science funding private institutions along with HHMI: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Wellcome Trust.
